In June 2013, we sailed on back-to-back Disney Cruises in the Mediterranean. Highlights included ports with access to Florence, Rome, Venice, Athens, Ephesus, Dubrovnik, Naples, Malta, Mykonos, Villefranche, and Barcelona. We began this blog in the planning stages, posted during the trip itself, and are continuing to share not only our experiences, but information we learned along the way. We hope our blog will be useful to others planning visits to the Mediterranean whether by land or by sea.

Malta fishing village
One of our stops during our tour around Malta was at a fishing village where the boats were so colorful. They nearly always have eyes on the front to ward off evil. There is also a souvenir row with lots of locally made textiles.
