In June 2013, we sailed on back-to-back Disney Cruises in the Mediterranean. Highlights included ports with access to Florence, Rome, Venice, Athens, Ephesus, Dubrovnik, Naples, Malta, Mykonos, Villefranche, and Barcelona. We began this blog in the planning stages, posted during the trip itself, and are continuing to share not only our experiences, but information we learned along the way. We hope our blog will be useful to others planning visits to the Mediterranean whether by land or by sea.

A Public Convenience
One of the stops we made on our tour of Malta was at a fishing village where there were tables full of local handiwork. But also at this stop was a restroom which was helpfully marked as a public convenience. We had learned to ask for a toilet or water closet but never would have thought to look for a public convenience. It would have been inconve isn't to need one and not have it.
