In June 2013, we sailed on back-to-back Disney Cruises in the Mediterranean. Highlights included ports with access to Florence, Rome, Venice, Athens, Ephesus, Dubrovnik, Naples, Malta, Mykonos, Villefranche, and Barcelona. We began this blog in the planning stages, posted during the trip itself, and are continuing to share not only our experiences, but information we learned along the way. We hope our blog will be useful to others planning visits to the Mediterranean whether by land or by sea.

Upper Barracca Gardens, Valletta, Malta
We ok the Barracca Lift up from the cruise ship port area into the city of Valletta. At the top is the Upper Barracca gardens which provide a quiet, restful place with free wifi access. We enjoyed relaxing there for part of the afternoon. From there, you can walk to several shops and sites of interest.
